Basically heart attack can be prevented by various strategies some of them are given below;
1- Maintaining healthy diet:
Eat fruits, grains, lean proteins such as obtain from chickens and fish's and healthy fats( such as olive oil, nuts, avocados).
Limit your consumption of trans fat, saturated fats, and high level sodium as to prevent heart attack.
2- Regular Exercise:
Exercise play major role in preventing chronic and deadly diseases. Regular exercise which involves 150 minute aerobic exercise or 75 minute careless exercise. Activities like jogging, swimming, walking are also good option if you do not want to stuck your self in gem.
3- Blood pressure:
Blood pressure is major factor of heart attack, it should be checked regularly and any irregular behavior must not be avoided. Reduce your salt intake and if you are having any problem then prescribed medication can help .
4- Do not smoke:
Smoking can cause damage to your blood arteries increasing the risk of heart attack. Quitting smoking can reduce the risk of heart attack.
Note that it is not necessary that heart attack is only cause due to direct smoking , you can experience painful heart attack as a result of indirect smoking. Indirect smoking is much dangerous then direct smoking because smoking material has some of filter attach at the top of it that can block some of harmful gases but in indirect smoking situation is totally opposite as there is no filter so no blocking of harmful gases but direct inhaling.
5- Maintaining proper cholesterol level;
High cholesterol level or high level LDL can cause heart attack.
Explanation:
High cholesterol level such as LDL(bad cholesterol ) can cause plaque formation in blood arteries as a result they become hard and narrow such condition is also known as atherosclerosis. Blood flow from arteries is reduced as a result heart gets less oxygenated blood which causes heart attack.
